You make it sound like getting a 64-bit system is easy. Migrating from 32-bit to 64-bit in the same machine involves a clean install of Windows 64-bit. =3=

Also the minimum spec (without bit-architecture mentioned though) should be the basis of if the game at least works on one 's machine or not. ...though I guess that doesn't matter for the issue at hand atm.

Odd how this isn't an issue on other-region Soulworkers though...or maybe it was not/was less reported, or at least I didn't hear anyone from SW JP reporting it around.

Would you be able to provide a screenie how it looks like?

Also, that sounds like a case of corrupted files, maybe. Have the files' integrity checked/verified, 'see if it fixes it.

This is due to the game's way of UI scaling to, yes, the screen width w/o regarding screen height.

This is also a known issue with other regions' Soulworker, so this kinda applies beta or non-beta.

Workaround for the screen-stretching problem, set the game to Borderless Window at 16:9 (or whichever ratio lower than 21:9 that has acceptable UI cut-off) with a screen height of 1080.

Unfortunately, Voice Volume here refers to only the NPC voices/in-battle/cutscene dialogues. Effects refers to, well, sound effects + character action voices.

I wish it wasn't like that: voices being included in the SFX instead.

Hey Folks, My launcher crashes after launching the game. The play button disappears and the only way to close it is to Ctrl + Alt + Del and end task. At the bottom of the launcher there's repeating text which says: "Cancelled by User". I thought that this is weird.

Were you able to fix or at least get around that "Cancelled by User" error?

Oh hey, someone who notices that problem as well.
Unfortunately it's been there even since JP beta testing days, and it hasn't gotten any better. orz

A few more other reports that I suspect notice the same thing:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/soulw…s/817ou3/camera_skipping/

    https://www.reddit.com/r/soulw…hm/unintentional_stutter/

The 2nd link doesn't explain why the game camera-accelerates, but explains this "pixel grid" thing that might help in the understanding and which explains the jaggy non-smooth per-bit-of-mouse-movement for Soulworker. (Then, if you've read the 2nd link in its entirety and return here, please don't start with v/g/freesync stuff here, because I'm telling you now: it isn't.)

I wouldn't call it unplayable though, just...distracting and sometimes inconvenient .

    Uhh, let's not confuse craft material requirements with Item Mall / Cash Shop prices, okay? o-o;;

    So ...

Craft Material Requirement number is: (NA = KR) > JP

Item Mall / Cash Shop items prices is: NA > (KR = JP)

We're in the topic of craft mats though, but since cash shop/item mall's been brought up...
    'Just putting this here anyway.

Item Mall screenshots for JP and KR (to be uploaded) for reference.
(JP's is 1 Yen = 1 Y.P, while KR is like... 1 Won = 10 units, I think? so it scales just fine with JP's. Feel free to correct.)

I kinda feel like we should get Respawners mailed to us daily . like 3 or something. idk if thats related to the death system convo or not though

Rather than 3 mailed daily, eventually in a future version of the game (hopefully, like KR and JP have now), we'll have 3 free daily non-inventory Respawner that refreshes along with the energy. Any number of reviving/respawning beyond that uses your inventory Respawner. I think that's good enough update for this death system.

Items 3 and 4 about weapon/clothing preview and more weapon skins respectively is nice to have though. Item #4, IIRC we're going to have a thing where you can skin your weapon to any currently-existing weapon...but maybe I heard it as just a suggestion from somewhere, too.

Meanwhile, uhh, I'm seeing more of these collected suggestions with the same content lately. I wonder if Gameforge fellows are tallying all of these well or something, just so they're monitored...

Before you start wanting to equalize to JP, you might want to equalize on KR first, since that's where the client was based off of.
Like others have said though, the amount of clothing materials is the same as KR's...and this is even no longer beta.
(Don't let that get to you though, I'm just putting an excuse to be able to post this KR screenshot image for reference xD; )

...Well, if not lowering the required materials, I'll go for the increased cloth drop rates/amounts, too.

Regardless of update size, I'd like to have detailed patch notes as well.

It'll honestly help everyone, players and moderators/staffers alike, in the long run.

For the death system...eventually we'll have 3 free daily respawners that refresh along with energy, later in the version of the game, as did KR and JP. (shows up when you die get incapacitated as 3/3, instead of something you can see in your inventory)

That bleeding out system doesn't sound so bad though.
(I'd prefer it if one uses "incapaciated" instead of "dead/death" though bceause death is just too much for me to handle for these Solworkers especially Haru ;w;... but that's my opinion.)

...W-wait...that would mean additional "downed" character animations which caters to my interests... >////<

"_EN" must mean they plan on using separate keybinds for possibly... different servers? I have no clue.

Which I think could be a nice implementation of choice, should people be playing on different servers. '3'
Though at the moment, I think what happens is that the one w/o _EN gets superseded by _EN even though one plays in [NA].

...That, or maybe it refers to the language being English.

As a default though, that's unfortunately a normal thing to happen when there's an update on the UserData files..at least it was for JP & KR SW.

I hope Gameforge provides some kind of caution/note that the UserData or basically any UI and hotkey customization done resets after maintenance.
They only provide "what to fix" in maintenance, but not "what were fixed"...buuut that's another topic.

Huh...odd how that worked, but yes deleting the User_#####_Option_EN.ini makes the old User_#####_Option.ini work again.

As an info, just deleting the _EN will make your settings be applied only once, as the game then creates another _EN, so it's best that you make a copy of it and replacing _EN with a copy of your current User_#####_Option.ini.
